{The Way I View} beginnings

With the start of the New Year, it’s fitting that this month’s “The Way I View” blog circle continues with the theme of “Beginnings.” (See last month’s post here.)

My oh-so-cautious 6-year-old wants to learn how to really use his scooter like many of the other kids who frequent our community skate park. He is not much of a risk taker, so the jumping and quick turns do not come easily for him. While he’s been to the skate park a few times, this was the first time he wasn’t joined by a certain little sisterly distraction, and all his attention was focused on his movement around the park. It may take him a while, but he is definitely beginning to learn how to be a {calculated} risk taker.

Please continue on through the blog circle and visit Emily of Emily Greenfield Photography to get her take on “Beginnings.”

  1. Love these. My 6 yr old is very timid to try new things, especially anything physical. I think he would love to try this 🙂
